The Cause of Zakir Hussain’s Death
According to reports, Zakir Hussain had been battling high blood pressure and heart-related issues. He had been in a San Francisco hospital for the past two weeks due to these complications. His family confirmed that his death was caused by Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. During his hospital stay, his condition worsened, and he was admitted to the ICU, but unfortunately, he could not recover. Zakir Hussain’s wife, Kathak dancer and educator Antonia Minecola, and his two daughters, Anisa Qureshi and Isabella Qureshi, survive him.
