The car has a next-generation hybrid system, which the company claims will give a mileage of 25kmpl.
Toyota Camry Exterior: 18-inch alloy wheels and newly designed grille
The ninth-generation Toyota Camry is based on the TNGA-K platform. Many Toyota and Lexus cars, such as the Alphard, Sienna, Venza, Lexus ES, and Lexus RX, use it. The company designed it based on its new design theme, giving it a quite futuristic look.
The front of the car has a newly designed thin LED headlight with an angular C-shaped DRL. A honeycomb-patterned dual-tone grille, painted in body colour, extends towards the lower part of the car between the two headlamps. Apart from this, there is a sharp bonnet crease and air duct on the bumper.
The side profile has 18-inch alloy wheels and from the side, it is quite similar to before. At the rear, it has a new design C-shaped LED tail light and ‘Camry’ badging in between them. It has a ‘Toyota’ logo with an integrated spoiler on the boot lid and a black finish on the lower part of the rear bumper which gives it a rugged look.
Camry’s Performance: 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine
The new Toyota Camry has an updated 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, which is paired with the company’s fifth-generation hybrid system THS 5. It has a 100kW permanent magnet synchronous motor with a lithium-ion battery.
Together, these two generate 230hp of power and 221Nm of peak torque. For transmission, the engine has been tuned with an e-CVT gearbox. The company claims that the car will run 25.49 kilometres in one litre of petrol. Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes have been provided to drive this front wheel drive (FWD) car.
