The situation could have escalated further had it not been for the swift action of SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi. His efforts to control the unrest and appeal for peace have made him a local hero. Let’s delve into who Krishna Kumar Bishnoi is and how he has earned a reputation as one of Uttar Pradesh’s most formidable IPS officers.

A Fearless IPS Officer of Uttar Pradesh

Krishna Kumar Bishnoi, often referred to as KK Bishnoi, is a 2018 batch IPS officer. Known for his fearless approach, Bishnoi has tackled some of Uttar Pradesh’s most notorious criminals. During his tenure in Meerut, he ordered the demolition of a mansion owned by gangster Badan Singh Baddo, who carried a bounty of ₹5 lakh. Bishnoi famously left the debris untouched to serve as a warning about the consequences of illegal activities.

In Muzaffarnagar, he arrested the infamous criminal Sushil Mooch, and during his posting in Gorakhpur, he seized mafia properties worth ₹800 crore. His uncompromising attitude has earned him the respect of his colleagues and the fear of criminals.

Choosing Service Over a 30 Lakh Job

Bishnoi’s journey to success was anything but ordinary. Hailing from a small village in Rajasthan, he excelled in academics, topping his district in the 8th grade. After completing his education in Sikar and Jodhpur, he graduated from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. His ambition took him to France, where he earned a Master’s degree in International Security from the Paris School of International Affairs on a ₹40 lakh scholarship.

Despite securing a ₹30 lakh annual salary at the United Nations Trade Center, Bishnoi chose to return to India, driven by a desire to serve his country.

Cracking UPSC at Just 24 Without Coaching

Bishnoi continued his education with an MPhil from JNU and briefly worked with the Ministry of External Affairs. However, his true goal was to become an IPS officer. With sheer determination and no formal coaching, he cleared the UPSC exam at just 24 years old. Today, he stands as a symbol of integrity and courage, feared by criminals and admired by citizens.

A Legacy of Bravery and Dedication

SP Krishna Kumar Bishnoi’s impact extends beyond Sambhal, as his reputation resonates throughout Uttar Pradesh. His decisive actions and unwavering dedication to justice have made him a household name. Even the most hardened gangsters shudder at the mention of his name.
