Hearing loss is becoming a serious problem. According to a WHO report, about 150 crore people are suffering from this problem and this number can reach 250 crore by 2050. Although there are many reasons for deafness, but today’s lifestyle is becoming the biggest cause of this problem.
Headphones and airplugs are the problem
Now children, youth and the elderly are all troubled by hearing loss and ear pain. But a major reason for these problems in the youth is smartphones, listening to music at high volume and continuous use of earphones. In adults, this problem can be due to infection or weakness in the nerves with increasing age. Therefore, to deal with this problem, everyone needs to make some changes in their lifestyle.
What habits to avoid:
Do not listen to anything in high volume – use headphones, earphones only when absolutely necessary. Stay away from loudspeakers or firecrackers. While listening to songs, keep the volume as low as possible, never more than 60%. A higher volume than this can be harmful for your ears.
Do not use earphones in noisy places- If you are in a very noisy place, do not use earphones at all. This can have a bad effect on your hearing, because to hear the phone in noise, you will have to keep the volume high.
Do not ignore cold- If you have a cold for a long time, do not ignore it. This can cause ear disease.
