Taking to social media platform X, Saurav Das shared a picture from the meeting and confirmed that while the Union Minister assured them he would discuss the matters at an “appropriate level,” no concrete commitments or solid promises have been made so far by the government.

Thousands of students, youth activists, and supporters had assembled near Jantar Mantar to attempt a massive ‘Chalo Sansad’ (March to Parliament).
Posting an update post-meeting, Saurav Das wrote on X:
“Ashutosh Ranka and I have been at J.P. Nadda’s residence… The demands have been conveyed, including immediate resignation/sacking of Dharmendra Pradhan. The Minister assured us he will discuss this at the appropriate level. However, no commitments have been made so far. The peaceful protesters will not rest until the demand is met!”

Financial Relief for Families: A financial compensation of ₹1 crore to the families of all NEET aspirants who tragically lost their lives to suicide following exam irregularities.

Despite heavy barricading and prohibitory orders enforced by the Delhi Police, angry student protesters clashed with security personnel, attempting to breach barriers near Parliament.
Reports indicated police personnel resorted to lathi charges and tear gas shells to disperse the swelling crowds. Meanwhile, CJP leadership slammed the police response, alleging a “brutal crackdown” on peaceful student demonstrators.
