India Vs Pakistan: Preview Of Both The Teams –
India will want their batters to come good against the pacers and spinners of the Men in Green. Virat Kohli will open the innings with Rohit Sharma in the game against Pakistan tomorrow. King Kohli scored just a run against Ireland and now he should look to step up in the most vital clash of this tournament.
The skipper, Rohit Sharma did well in the first match and used his luck to score a good half century in the opening encounter. Rishabh Pant too batted well against the Irish Men at the number three position. He had also scored a half century in the warm up match against Bangladesh. But now he needs to be consistent at that number.
Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah have done well till now. They need to continue their goodwork in front of the Pakistani line up as well. While Pakistan shouldn’t mind their first loss to USA in their opening match. They also started the last edition with two losses and still went on to play the finals in 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia.
The batting will hold the key for Pakistan as well. They should look to open the innings with Zaman and Rizwan. Babar can bat at number three position. Instead of Usman Khan or Azam Khan, PAK should look to replace one of them with Imad Wasim, who is a batting all rounder and Imad can be used as an extra option as well.
Like India, Pakistan’s bowling is also good. But having said that, they failed to restrict the USA batters and also lost the match in the super over. The Green Men will have to give an all round performance in their match against the Blues tomorrow. Toss will be also an important factor. The team who wins the toss should bowl first to use the early moisture and conditons from the NY wicket.
