Raju, who works at Khan’s bakery, also participated in the abuse. The two men used the video as a tool for intimidation, threatening the young girl to keep her silent.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the victim’s family faced significant challenges in seeking justice. For nearly two days, their pleas went unheard as they approached various authorities. It was only after the involvement of the Nishad Party and local Hindu organizations, including Bajrang Dal and VHP, that the case gained traction. These groups mobilized to support the family and filed a formal complaint with the police, leading to the arrest of the accused.

Silence from Political Leaders

The lack of response from prominent leaders of the Indi Alliance, such as Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi, and Supriya Shrinate, has raised eyebrows. Despite their history of advocating for victims of such crimes, they have not reached out to the victim’s family or publicly addressed the incident. This silence has left many questioning their commitment to justice for victims of sexual violence.
