What’s new in Hero Maverick Thunderwheels Edition?

In the video shared on the social media platform X, the roadster bike is seen in a dual-tone shade with a red and dark blue colour combination. This colour combination is similar to the colour used in the logo and branding of Thums Up. In this, the front fender has been given a blue finish and the part near the front fork is red. The headlight section has also been slightly changed, now it has a flyscreen. Apart from this, the stock rear view mirror has been replaced with a bar-end mirror.

The tank of the bike is also given in dark blue colour, but the badging of Maverick 440 has been given a metallic grey and red colour finish. In this, grey colour has been used for the upper half and red colour for the lower part. The tank extensions are red and the ‘Thunderwheels’ graphic will also be found in it. At the same time, the engine crankcase has been given a golden finish. This makes the special edition look quite different from the regular model, which comes in black. Apart from this, the tail section is dark blue like the tank.

Maverick: Design

Maverick has been developed on the platform of the Harley Davidson X440, but its look and design are different. The roadster-style bike is equipped with a modern touch with a retro theme. Its front has a round headlamp with twin H-shaped DRLs.

The bike gets a tubular-style handlebar, single-piece seat, and sporty tank shroud with a curved fuel tank. The sharp-looking exhaust makes the bike look very powerful. Apart from this, a stubby tail section with LED taillights is available at the rear and it has a scoop-out, single-piece seat setup.

Maverick: Performance

Hero Maverick comes with the same engine as the Harley Davidson X440. This 440cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine generates 27HP of power and 36Nm of peak torque. For transmission, the engine is tuned to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Hero Maverick 440: Features

The bike has modern features like full LED lighting with LED indicators and an LCD with Bluetooth connectivity. Its negative LCD instrument console is very clean and it gives information related to the speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, range and mileage indicator and side stand alert. Hero Maverick bike gets 35 features with Bluetooth connectivity. These include turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, digital clock, estimated time of arrival (ETA), distance and phone battery indicator etc.
