Famous Bollywood actor Govinda was injured by a bullet after which he was admitted to the hospital. After which the doctors have removed the bullet and the actor is currently out of danger.
Bollywood actor and politician Govinda was injured due to a bullet on Tuesday. According to sources, this incident happened at 4:45 in the morning. At that time Govinda was alone in the house and was cleaning his licensed revolver, when by mistake there was a misfire and he got shot. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people present nearby reached the spot and took him to the hospital. Police also reached the spot and seized the revolver.
Govinda is out of danger
The bullet was removed from his leg in the hospital and he has got 8 to 10 stitches. Govinda’s wife Sunita told that earlier he was kept in ICU but now he is better so he has been shifted to the nomal ward. He may also be discharged in a day or two.
Govinda shared a message from the hospital
After the treatment, Govinda shared a recorded message in which he said, “I am fine with the blessings of all of you. The bullet was fired accidentally, which has been removed through surgery. I thank the doctors and all of you for your prayers.”
The actor was going to Kolkata at 6 o’clock
Actor Govinda’s (60) manager Shashi Sinha said that the incident took place at 4:45 in the morning when the actor was putting his revolver back in the case after cleaning it before leaving for Kolkata for an event. Then in a hurry, the revolver fell from his hand and the bullet fired. The bullet hit his left leg below the knee. This accident happened because the lock of the revolver was open. According to sources, there were 6 bullets in the revolver. His wife Sunita had already gone to Kolkata and left for Mumbai as soon as she got the news of the accident.
Many celebrities reached the hospital to meet him
After this accident yesterday, many big celebrities reached the hospital to meet Govinda, including Shatrughan Sinha, David Dhawan, Jackie Bhagnani, and many others. A video of Govinda’s nephew Krishna Abhishek’s wife Kashmira Shah is also going viral where it can be seen that she also reached the hospital to meet uncle Govinda. Krushna also informed about uncle’s recovery on his Instagram.

Many questions are arising regarding this matter. First, if there is a safety lock then the bullet cannot be fired, so was Govinda keeping it without a safety lock? Second, usually the bullet and the revolver are kept separately, then why was he going to another city keeping it together?
