Kia India is going to launch the fourth-generation model of its most luxurious MPV Carnival Limousine in India. It will be launched tomorrow (3 October). The Korean company revealed this premium feature car on 16 September.
Kia has started booking the MPV. Buyers can book it online from the official website or offline from the Kia dealership by paying a token money of Rs 2 lakh. The second-generation model of the car is available for sale in India.
Kia Carnival Limousine: Price can be Rs 40 to 50 lakh.
The starting price of the 2024 Kia Carnival can be between Rs 40 to 50 lakh (ex-showroom). It can be chosen as a more premium option than the Toyota Innova Highcross (₹ 19.77 lakh – ₹ 30.98 lakh), apart from this it can also be chosen as a more affordable luxury MPV than the Toyota Vellfire (₹ 1.22 crore – ₹ 1.32 crore) and Lexus LM.
Kia Carnival Limousine: Exterior
The global model of the Kia Carnival was updated in 2023, but it was not launched in India. Kia’s most recent design language has been used to its fourth-generation vehicle.
It includes a prominent grille with chrome embellishment, vertically positioned 4-piece headlights, and L-shaped connected LED daytime running lamps (DRL). Overall, the design of the upcoming Carnival is very similar to the Kia EV9.
One-touch rear power sliding doors have been provided on the side, which was also in its second generation model. Flush-type door handles will also be available here. The luxury car has 18-inch alloy wheels and connected LED taillights, apart from this, a wide electric dual sunroof will be available on top.
Interior: 12.3-inch dual digital display
The cabin of the Kia Carnival is similar to its global model. A three-row layout with captain seats in the second row and bench-type seats in the third row has been provided. The second-row seat has ventilation, heating, and leg extension support with sliding and reclining second-row captain seats. There will be a choice of two interior colors navy blue and tan and brown.
The dashboard of the new generation luxury car has a touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 12.3-inch digital driver display. Here you will also get a heads-up display. For comfort, the car has an electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and 8-way adjustable passenger seats.
The cabin will be available in dark blue/beige color in the base Limousine variant and a premium tan/black color scheme for the top-end Limousine Plus variant. Apart from this, the 12-speaker Bose premium sound system, 3-zone automatic climate control, powered tailgate, and ambient lighting will give a premium feel.
Performance: 2.2-liter diesel engine
Performance upgrades for the 2024 Kia Carnival Limousine will include a 2.2-liter diesel engine that produces 441Nm of peak torque and 193 horsepower. An automated torque converter gearbox with 8 speeds has been fitted to the engine for transmission. The car will come with a front wheel drive option.
