Adani Group company ‘Adani Green Energy’ has made a net profit of Rs 515 crore in the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. It has increased by 39% on an annual basis. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had registered a net profit of Rs 371 crore.
The company has an income of Rs 3,376 crore in the July-September quarter. A year ago i.e. in the second quarter of the financial year 2023-24, the company’s income was Rs 2,589 crore. It has increased by 30.4% on an annual basis.
Adani Green Energy stock rose 91% in a year.
After the results, Adani Green Energy stock closed at Rs 1,684 with a decline of 1.57%. With this, the market cap of the company has also increased to Rs 2.67 lakh crore. Adani shares have given a return of 91.19% in a year.
The company formed in 2015 and built a project portfolio of 20,434 MW.
Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) formed Adani Green Energy on 23 January 2015 as a subsidiary. It is one of India’s largest renewable energy companies, with a current project portfolio of 20,434 MW.
The company is building the world’s largest renewable energy plant located at a location in Khavda, Gujarat. Its capacity will be 30 gigawatts. Adani Group is building the world’s largest renewable park in Khavda, Gujarat, which is spread over 530 square kilometers. This area is 5 times the size of the city of Paris.
