There is big news for the youth preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment process for 7,994 vacant posts of Lekhpal in the state is going to start soon.
The Revenue Council has sent the recruitment proposal to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). The notification for UP Lekhpal recruitment will be released on the official website of UPSSSC, upsssc.gov.in.
UP CM Yogi Orders Quick Recruitment for 7994 Lekhpal Posts
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the officials to fill the vacant posts of Lekhpal as soon as possible. Its aim is to increase employment opportunities in the state and to complete the pending works in government departments smoothly.
This recruitment process will not only provide opportunities to unemployed youth but will also strengthen the revenue administration of the state. The notification of Lekhpal recruitment can be released in January 2025.
Eligibility for Lekhpal
To apply for the Lekhpal post, candidates must have a valid scorecard of UPSSSC PET (Preliminary Eligibility Test). Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) examination from a recognized board/institute.
Additionally, the minimum age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years at the time of application.
However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government norms. Candidates are advised to read the details given in the notification carefully after it is released.
