The second royal bath will be on 29 January on the day of Mauni Amavasya. Due to this, a large number of devotees are reaching Prayagraj.

So far, the number of people participating in the Mahakumbh has crossed 15 crores. In the last 17 days, more than 15 crore people have bathed in the holy water of Mahakumbh. On Makar Sankranti, about 3.5 crore devotees, revered saints and Kalpvasis took part in the holy bath.

Mahakumbh: Security Tightened for Mauni Amavasya

It is estimated that 8 to 10 crore people will come on the upcoming Mauni Amavasya. About 40 crore people are expected to come in Mahakumbh 2025. In view of this, full attention is being paid to the convenience of the devotees coming to Mahakumbh. After Mauni Amavasya, the holy bath will be on Basant Panchami in February.

It is worth noting that the Mahakumbh started on January 13 and will conclude on February 26. Devotees going to Mahakumbh are also going to Ayodhya and Kashi.
