CUET UG 2025: The registration process for CUET UG 2025 is going to start soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon start the registration for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025. However, the agency has not yet announced the official date and time of the registration process.
After the notification is released, candidates will get important details about the exam, including exam date, registration dates, application process, fee and other important information.
CUET UG 2025: Major Changes Introduced in the Exam Process
This year CUET UG 2025 will see some important changes. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has made these amendments to make the examination process more efficient and standardized. Some of the major changes include:
- Reduction in the number of subjects: Candidates can now choose only five subjects instead of six.
- Exam Duration: The duration of CUET UG will now be fixed at 60 minutes. Earlier, the duration ranged between 45 to 60 minutes. This change will ensure a uniform time limit for all candidates.
- Elimination of optional questions: Earlier some questions were optional, but now all questions will be compulsory. This means candidates will have to answer every question in the exam.
- End of hybrid model: In previous years, CUET UG followed the hybrid model with both online and offline options. From this year, the hybrid model has been discontinued, and the exam will be conducted completely in online (computer-based) format.
