Following the Footsteps of Savji Dholakia

When it comes to grand Diwali gifts, Gujarat’s Savji Dholakia often comes to mind. Known for his generosity towards employees, he has set an example for others. This year, a Chennai-based company followed suit by distributing 28 cars and 29 bikes to its staff. The cars include top brands like Hyundai, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and even Mercedes Benz.

The Company Behind the Gifts

The company in question is Team Detailing Solutions, a business involved in structural design and detailing services. A company official stated that the gifts were a reward for the employees’ dedication and hard work, as the owner considers them the company’s greatest asset. The company currently employs around 180 people.

Employees are the Real Asset

Sridhar Kannan, the Managing Director of the company, emphasized that the company owes its success to the relentless efforts of its employees. “We are grateful for their hard work and have rewarded them with these gifts,” Kannan said. He firmly believes that a company can only thrive if its employees are happy and motivated.

Gifts Boost Employee Motivation

Kannan also pointed out that when employees are well taken care of, they perform better. He explained that employees are motivated by such gifts, which encourage them to work harder. “For many, owning a bike or car is a dream, and we have helped them achieve it,” he added.

₹1 Lakh for Weddings

In addition to cars and bikes, the company offers financial support for employees’ weddings. Kannan mentioned that employees receive up to ₹1 lakh in financial aid for marriage, a sum that was recently increased from ₹50,000, in line with the company’s growing profits.
