The King has scored the second most runs in the Aussie nation in the red ball form of the game. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is the highest run-getter in Test matches Down Under. The Master Blaster scored 1809 runs, which is the most runs that an Indian batter has amassed in Australia in Test matches.

The God has played 20 red ball games and 38 Test innings in the Aussie nation to be India’s number one and highest run-getter Down Under. Sachin had an average of 53.20 in Australia. Tendulkar has scored six centuries and seven half-centuries in the Tests played in Australia. His best knock came in Sydney when he scored an unbeaten 241 runs.

Talking about today’s birthday boy, Virat Kohli, he is the second-highest run scorer in the red ball matches played in the Aussie nation. From 2011 to 2020, King Kohli had played 13 Test matches and 25 innings. Kohli had scored 1352 runs to his name in those games.

Sachin and Virat have scored six centuries each in Australia in the Test matches played. However, The King has a better average than Mr. Tendulkar. Kohli’s Test average in Australia is  54.08 and now on this upcoming tour in 2024, Virat should aim to break Sachin’s record of six tons in the Aussie Nation.
