Ghaziabad Doctor Faces Negligence Allegations: A case of alleged medical negligence at a private nursing home in Loni, Ghaziabad, has sparked widespread discussion after a patient’s allegations and a purported conversation with a doctor went viral on social media.
According to the patient’s complaint and multiple media reports, a Delhi woman has accused a surgeon of damaging a critical blood vessel during a gallbladder surgery.
She further alleged that when she later questioned the doctor about the incident, he responded by saying it was “Allah’s will” (“Toh bhi Allah ki marzi”).
The doctor, however, has denied all allegations of negligence, and the matter is currently under official inquiry.
Patient Claims Health Deteriorated After Surgery
Ghaziabad Doctor Faces Negligence Allegations: According to media reports, the complainant,Noor Saba, a resident of Kardam Puri in Delhi’s Shahdara district, underwent a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery) on February 17, 2026, at Alvi Nursing Home in Loni, Ghaziabad.
As per her complaint, she began experiencing serious health complications around 15 to 20 days after the surgery.
She later returned to the same nursing home, where doctors reportedly diagnosed her with jaundice and kept her under observation for two days.
The patient has alleged that she was not given a clear explanation for the sudden deterioration in her condition.
Second Hospital Allegedly Identified Surgical Damage
Ghaziabad Doctor Faces Negligence Allegations: According to Noor Saba’s statement, she later sought treatment at another hospital after her condition failed to improve.
She alleged that doctors there informed her a major blood vessel had been damaged during the earlier surgery, which led to complications, including jaundice.
The patient further claimed that she underwent a corrective surgery at the second hospital, after which her health improved.
These claims are based on the patient’s account and have not been independently confirmed by the authorities.
‘Allah’s Will’ Remark Becomes Centre of Controversy
The controversy intensified after the patient publicly shared her version of an alleged conversation with the operating doctor.
According to Noor Saba’s complaint and videos circulating on social media, she questioned the doctor about what could have happened if she had died because of the alleged surgical error. She claims the doctor replied that it would have been “Allah’s will.”
The patient has also alleged that the nursing home refused to accept responsibility and instead allegedly offered her a small amount of money between ₹500 and ₹1,000 to settle the matter. These allegations have not been established through any official investigation.
CMO Initiates Inquiry; Doctor Rejects Allegations
Following the complaint, the matter was reportedly brought before the local administration.
According to media reports, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) took cognizance of the complaint and sought an explanation from Dr. Mohammad Nadeem, who has been named by the complainant.
The doctor has denied all allegations of medical negligence, maintaining that the surgery was performed according to standard medical procedures.
As of now, no government authority has concluded that medical negligence occurred, and the inquiry remains ongoing.
The patient is reportedly seeking compensation for the expenses incurred during her subsequent treatment.
Case Triggers Debate on Medical Accountability
The incident has generated significant attention on social media after videos related to the complaint went viral.
Several users have called for a fair and transparent investigation into the allegations, while others have highlighted the importance of patient safety and accountability in healthcare institutions.
Some users have also demanded legal action if the allegations are found to be true following the official investigation.
