A 45-year-old anesthesiologist, identified as Dr. Kiran Honannavar, was found brutally murdered inside his high-rise apartment on Wednesday, July 15.
In a neighboring room, the couple’s eight-year-old son was discovered with multiple critical stab wounds, fighting for his life.
According to media reports, the local police have taken the deceased doctor’s wife, Priyanka Kattanahalli who is also a medically trained ophthalmologist into custody for questioning.
While the investigation remains ongoing, the bizarre circumstances surrounding the crime have raised intense suspicion.

The tragedy came to light after Dr. Kiran’s relatives grew anxious when they could not reach him through Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
According to local media sources, whenever family members called his phone, Priyanka answered and offered conflicting explanations. She initially claimed that Dr. Kiran was resting, and later asserted that he had gone out on professional duty.
Deeply troubled by the inconsistent responses, family members decided to visit the apartment in person on Wednesday evening. Upon entering, they were met with a blood-splattered, highly disturbing scene and immediately alerted the local police.
Cops Find Jailed Calm Amid Bloodshed
