Death Toll Rises as Rescue Operations Continue
According to officials quoted in media reports, at least 11 people have lost their lives due to flash floods, landslides, and house collapses across Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Among those reported dead were residents whose homes collapsed under the impact of heavy rainfall, while others were swept away by overflowing streams. Search teams are also looking for several people who remain missing.
