Telangana Harassment Allegations: A serious controversy has surfaced in the Suryapet district of Telangana, where a local Congress party member has been named in a formal police complaint involving allegations of sexual harassment, blackmail, and issuing threats.
The matter, reported from Bakkamanthulagudem village in Mattampally Mandal, triggered public outrage after the complainant allegedly attempted self-harm.
The accused named in the complaint, identified as Chinta Reddy Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, is a local political figure. Adding to the controversy, the complainant’s family has alleged that local police initially delayed taking formal action and pressured them to reach an out-of-court settlement due to political influence.
