Sensex closed at 77,580 with a fall of 110 points today on November 14th. Nifty also fell by 26 points, it closed at 23,532. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at 52,381, up 429 points.
Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 fell and 13 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 29 fell and 21 rose. The FMCG sector of NSE’s sectoral index fell the most by 1.53%. Whereas, the media sector rose the most by 2.26%.
Sensex-Mixed trading in Asian markets
HUL, ITC, NTPC, and Power Grid brought the market down the most. Whereas, Reliance, HDFC Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Mahindra & Mahindra pulled the market up.
In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei fell by 0.48%. Korea’s Kospi closed with a gain of 0.074% and China’s Shanghai Composite closed with a loss of 1.73%.
On November 13, America’s Dow Jones closed 0.11% higher at 43,958 and S&P 500 closed 0.023% higher at 5,985. Nasdaq closed 0.26% lower at 19,230.
According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹2,502.58 crore on November 13. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹6,145.24 crore.
