This pace-bowling all-rounder is the latest entrant in this list. Today he became the third youngest batsman from the Men in Blue to slam a red ball century in the Aussie Nation. Nitish Kumar Reddy scored his maiden hundred in red-ball form of the game and he is the first number eight batter from India to score a test ton in Australia.

His hundred in the fourth Test match at Melbourne Cricket Ground came when the team needed it the most. He held the 1st innings of India together with Washington Sundar in a partnership of 127 runs. After Ajinkya Rahane in 2020, it is Nitish who has scored a ton at MCG in 2024.

Washington Sundar played well to score a half-century to his name while Nitish Kumar Reddy scored a magnificent ton which helped India to keep the Aussies frustrated. India ended their day 3 with 358 runs for the loss of nine wickets and Nitish is still unbeaten on 105 runs.

2. Rishabh Pant –

The flamboyant wicketkeeper-batsman, Rishabh Pant hasn’t had a good series like had on two previous tours to the Aussie nation. In this five-match red ball series, Pant has failed to convert the starts. Pant is yet to play a big knock in this series like he did in Brisbane in 2021.

But he still holds the record of being the second youngest batter from the Men in Blue to smash a red ball match ton Down Under. At Sydney Cricket Ground in 2019, Rishabh Pant slammed a terrific century when he was just 21 years old. He had scored an unbeaten 159 runs in that game which ended in a draw.
