Online food aggregator Zomato will now deliver food in 15 minutes. The company has given a new option to deliver food in 15 minutes for customers on its app. However, the delivery location should be less than 1.5 km from the restaurant.
For this, customers have to go to the ‘Deliver in 15 minutes’ tab in the Explore section of the Zomato app. Customers will be able to see and order the list of foods to be delivered here. At present this service is not available everywhere.
Earlier, the company launched this service as a pilot project about 3 years ago. Then this service was started in cities like Delhi, Gurugram and Bangalore.

In December 2024, the company’s quick-commerce subsidiary Blinkit launched ‘Bistro’. From this platform, the company promises to deliver snacks, meals and beverages in 10 minutes. Earlier, Zomato’s rival Zepto unveiled Zepto Cafe.
This was Zomato’s second such attempt in the instant food and grocery delivery segment. According to the report, earlier Zomato had launched Zomato Instant, which was later discontinued.
Blinkit launched Bistro on Google Play Store on December 6
Zomato’s quick-commerce grocery subsidiary Blinkit launched its new app Bistro on Google Play Store on December 6, 2024. The app is designed to deliver snacks, meals and beverages in just 10 minutes.
This app of Zomato comes after Swiggy’s Swiggy Bolt and Zepto’s Zepto Cafe in the instant food delivery segment. Currently, all these apps do not sell proper meals, but sell readymade food items and snacks like samosas, sandwiches, coffee, pastries and other items.
Zomato’s profit increased by 388% in the second quarter
Zomato’s profit in the July-September quarter increased by 388% year-on-year to Rs 176 crore. The company’s consolidated net profit was Rs 36 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s revenue in the second quarter increased by 68.50% to Rs 4,799 crore. The revenue in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 2,848 crore.
