Now India will face a team who is also on a winning streak in this ICC Champions Trophy 2025. New Zealand is a team to beat in this edition and India will eye to finish the league with six points, which would be the most in the starting phase of this fifty overs event.

Currently, India and New Zealand are placed with four points each with two wins under their belt. These two teams, India and New Zealand will face off in the last league match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on Sunday, 2nd March 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.

The spin bowling all-rounder of Team India, Ravindra Jadeja is the first Indian to pick a five-wicket haul in the ICC Champions Trophy. Till now, Jadeja has picked up 17 scalps from 12 matches and 12 innings, which is the most by an Indian in the Champions Trophy.

Jadeja has also picked up a five-wicket haul in this ICC event of the fifty overs format. He became the first ever Indian bowler to do so in the history of this tournament when he bagged a five-fer against the Windies in the 2013 edition which India won under Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Before playing the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 edition, Mohammed Shami had played a couple of T20 International matches and a few ODI games to get ready for this fifty-overs event in Dubai. But he rose back to form in the first game of this edition against the Bangla Tigers.

Shami became just the second Indian bowler and the first pace bowler from Team India to pick a five-wicket haul in the history of the ICC Champions Trophy. The Indian pace bowler has played just two games of this event till now and he has bagged a five fer already to his name.
