So for this, first of all, you have to check whether you are eligible for PM – KUSUM scheme or not. There are some basic criteria for this scheme like you must be a registered farmer. The farm on which you are getting the solar panel installed should be your own. Along with this, you should also have some important documents like Aadhar card, ration card, land related papers or passport size photo.

Let us tell you that this scheme has three components. Component A, B, C. Under Component A, you can install DECENTRALISED SOLAR PLANTS from 500 kilowatts to 2 megawatts on your land. In COMPONENT B, solar pumps can be installed to run motors up to 75 AP. And in Component C, the government provides financial support for grid-connected agricultural equipments up to seven HP.
