Lashkar Commander Dies: According to media reports, a senior commander of the banned Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has died under suspicious circumstances in Islamabad.
The incident comes just days after a rare public admission by another top LeT operative claiming that over 30 members of the organization had been targeted and killed by “unknown men” across Pakistan.
The deceased commander, identified as Qari Saeed Abdul Aziz, reportedly fell ill and collapsed near the entrance of the Quba Mosque in Islamabad.
According to news reports, Aziz had consumed food at an unfamiliar restaurant shortly before arriving at the mosque to offer prayers.

Accompanying individuals and associates attempted to render emergency assistance and administered CPR on-site, but he remained unresponsive. He was subsequently rushed to a medical facility, where doctors pronounced him dead.
While an official medical determination regarding the exact cause of death has not been publicly released, the timeline involving his meal at an unfamiliar establishment has led to widespread speculation regarding potential poisoning or deliberate foul play.

Department Head: Within Lashkar-e-Taiba, Aziz was in charge of a specialized unit that provided financial and logistical support to the families of LeT militants killed during anti-terror encounters in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to media reports, Hanif publicly admitted that more than 30 members of the banned outfit have been eliminated in coordinated attacks across several major Pakistani locations:
