However, while Ragde was serving time in prison for his involvement in serious offenses, including murder, attempted murder, and dacoity, his close associate, Gaurav Raut, grew increasingly intimate with the same woman.
Seeking a fresh start away from the underworld, Raut and the woman launched a joint cloud kitchen venture in Narendra Nagar, where Raut rented a residence.
Tension mounted rapidly when Ragde, who had been released on bail just two weeks prior, learned that his partner was spending time at a party in Raut’s home.

What followed was a 30-minute chaotic brawl in full view of shocked passersby, many of whom captured parts of the incident on mobile video.
The Confrontation: Ragde confronted Raut, leading to intense physical grappling and trading of blows.
The Turning Point: During the violent scuffle, Ragde lost his footing. Sensing an opening, Raut and his accomplice Abhishek Wasnik managed to disarm Ragde, snatching the knife he carried tucked in his belt.
The Fatal Blows: Raut repeatedly stabbed Ragde in the chest with his own weapon, leaving him bleeding profusely on the road before fleeing the scene.
Although Ragde was rushed to a nearby hospital shortly after the assault, attending doctors declared him dead on arrival.
