T20 World Cup 2024: India has qualified for the Super Eight Round of their T20 World Cup 2024 which has currently being played in the United States of America (USA) and West Indies. The Men in Blue have won three games and their fourth encounter was a washout against Canada in Florida on Saturday.
Now Rohit Sharma and his men will play the Super Eight Round of the T20 World Cup 2024 and they will travel to the Caribbean for those three important fixtures of this ICC mega event of the Shortest format. India was unbeaten in the matches which were played in Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, USA.
But will they continue that winning form in the Super Eight Round of this year’s T20 World Cup 2024 as well? The Men in Blue won their matches against Ireland, Pakistan and the co-host of this T20 International tournament United States of America. However, the batting issue is still a worrying sign for Rohit and Co.

1. T20 World Cup 2024: India Vs Afghanistan On Thursday, 20th June 2024 At Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados –
India will start their Super Eight Campaign against the undefeated men of the Afghans. Afghanistan was on the top of the table in their group and the two-time World T20 title winning team West Indies is second in their Group C and New Zealand was eliminated from the first round. Afghanistan also bundled out the Kiwis for just 74 runs in a league match and that too in just 15.4 overs.
Fazalhaq Fraooqi is the highest wicket taker in this T20 World Cup 2024 and he is from the team of Afghanistan. India has a good record in the shortest format against the men of the Afghans. But they cant take them lightly in their first fixture of their Super Eight Round. Rahmatullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran are the highest run scorers for AFG with the bat in this tournament so far.
2. T20 World Cup 2024: India Vs Bangladesh On Saturday, 22nd June 2024 at Sir Vivan Richards’ Stadium In North Sound At Antigua –
India had played a warm up match against Bangladesh before the start of the T20 World Cup 2024 and they won that practice game quite comprehensively in New York. But the game in the Super Eight Round of this year’s tournament will be a different one and India will want to maintain their unbeaten record against Bangladesh in the shortest format.
The Bangla Tigers are placed second in the group D. They have won three matches and lost one game in the group stage of this year’s T20 World Cup 2024. Their lone loss in the group stage came versus South Africa, who are the table toppers of the group D and The Proteas are placed in the Group two of the Super Eight Round of T20 World Cup 2024.
3. T20 World Cup 2024: India Vs Australia At Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Monday, 24th June 2024 –
India’s final encounter of the Super Eight Round in the T20 World Cup 2024 will be played versus the mighty Aussies. India had lost a match in when they had played against Australia in the 2010 edition of T20 World Cup when it was played in the Caribbean. That game was played at Bridgetown in Barbados.
India will aim to win all the three fixtures of the Super Eight Round of this year’s T20 World Cup 2024. The top two teams of each group one and two will go in the semi finals of this ICC mega event of the 20 overs format. India is placed in group one while South Africa, West Indies, England and United States of America are placed in Group 2.
